Tokyo Last Trains and Disruptions: Check Every Connection
Catching the first leg does not guarantee the last connection. Check the date, direction, transfers, and service notices; this page does not publish a fixed last-train timetable.
Search the full journey
Use the origin, final destination, date, and direction. Around midnight, check the date carefully. Include the walk between platforms rather than combining train times alone. JR East’s FAQ links to its official route search.
Separate timetable, status, and evidence of delay
Different pages answer different questions. A status page without a warning is not a substitute for checking whether your particular journey is possible.

Check the operator and update time
JR East notes that its status page does not refresh automatically and may differ from actual operations. Tokyo Metro’s FAQ identifies its official status channels. For a journey across operators, check each one rather than treating a single page as a Tokyo-wide feed.
Recheck the whole route after a missed connection
From a well-lit, staffed public place, look again for a complete available route. Do not run for a train or rely on an old timetable screenshot. If using another mode of transport, check its pickup point, destination, and fare information. This site does not provide live dispatch or fare guarantees.
